Guy fireing a missile

Subject:U.S. soldier fires a missile

By:Yuri Kozyrev

Caption:
On the fist dawn of November's harrowing battle to take over the rebel
stronghold of Fallujah, a member of Alpha Company's 3rd Platoon unleashed
an antitank missile at insurgents.  In a week fo brutal fighting the city was
brought under U.S. control and many insurgents weapons stockpiles were found.

Critique: This picture shows that there realy is a war going on and people are in danger
It's using the rule of thirds. It was taken with a slow shutter speed
because the missile is blurry and the sparks behind the CVI are blurry too. It has a small
depth of field because the buildings in the back are soft, and only the guy is in complete
focus. The buildings in the back are soft with the sky so they dont distract you.

Good job, but always be specific. Explain how the rule of thirds is used, especially if it not very clear like in this photo.
