Critique: This photos es very good. The the background helps the eye stay
focus on the CVI. The background is soft, probably by a slow shutter speed.
The CVI is not all the way in focus probably by a big aperture. The CVI is
also in the middle of the picture.

"Egrets" should be your headline. Put it in the subject of your email next time.
You also must make sure that the reader can easily find your photo. You should have written "photo 4 of 8"
Critique could be a bit more detailed. Also, slow shutter speed does not lead to a soft background, and a big aperture does not directly lead to something being out of focus,
